A hands-on textile arts camp where participants explore hand stitching, weaving, fabric painting, surface design, natural dyeing, upcycling, and mixed-media techniques while creating original projects inspired by sustainability and West Coast nature. The camp concludes with an independent upcycled artwork showcased in a community exhibition.
Week 2 – Surface Design
Session 1 – Colour, Cyanotype & Natural Dye
Explore the science and art of surface design through colour theory, cyanotype printing, and plant-based dyeing while creating samples for a personal Fiber Lab Sampler Book.
