Under the guidance of our instructor, Nancy, you’ll work step-by-step through the process, from cutting and assembling to stitching and finishing. Project for this session 1-2 different Zippered Pouches with all materials included with assorted fabrics to choose from.
If you have some sewing experience you are welcome to join the Beginner 2 group. Those with no experience are invited to join our Beginner 1 group scheduled for February.

Learn how to make an adorable and super soft hand-knit candy cane. It's perfect as a holiday decoration, stuffie or pillow. There will be a selection of yarn colours to choose from so you can personalize your creation! You'll be using super chunky yarn and the finished piece will be about 16" tall.

Christmas Stocking sewing workshop
Join Stacy in the creation of a Christmas Stocking for friends, family (or yourself).Bring your own sewing machine or use on of ours for a fun evening. Where is Mad Park Art located?
We’re located at 4982 Gonzales Road, Madeira Park, BC, beside the post office.
What does it cost to attend?
Drop-in studio hours typically cost $5, with most tools included. Some materials may have additional costs. Workshop and class pricing varies.
Do I need to register for classes or events?
Some workshops require pre-registration, but many of our drop-in sessions are open to everyone. Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee your spot, though it isn’t always necessary.
Do I need to bring my own supplies?
Most tools are included in your fee. Some projects may require additional materials, which can be purchased at the studio.
What ages can participate?
Our programs are open to all ages. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
