Community Paint Day for the Pender Harbour Food Bank
Community Paint Day!
Join the Mad Park Art team and the Pender Harbour Food Bank Society to paint 3 metal community food bank blessing boxes. All community members are invited to help paint. The Mad Park Art team will have the paint and instructions.
These Community Blessing Boxes have been funded by the Sunshine Coast Foundation and will be placed in Madeira Park, Garden Bay and Egmont.

Learn to weave with local textile artist Janna Vallee, of Everlea Looms. Using a range 100% wool yarns you will learn how to weave shapes, blend colours and create a variety of three-dimensional textures
Come to this workshop ready to learn a lot!
Janna will support you in designing and weaving a small one-of-a-kind textural artwork you will be proud to hang on your wall.
You also get to leave the workshop with free access to Janna's online workshop, so you can revisit the techniques online.

Kids will have a fun filled day creating their own mythical stuffie, mask, treasure chest and shield, sword/wand.

Mini Skateboard
Support the local longboarding group by making your own mini skateboard. You will get a board to make your own with stickers or paint and pick the colour of your wheels. There will be a door prize for a mini skate park at the end.

Where is Mad Park Art located?
We’re located at 4982 Gonzales Road, Madeira Park, BC, beside the post office.
What does it cost to attend?
Drop-in studio hours typically cost $10, with most tools included. Some materials may have additional costs. Workshop and class pricing varies.
Do I need to register for classes or events?
Some workshops require pre-registration, but many of our drop-in sessions are open to everyone. Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee your spot, though it isn’t always necessary.
Do I need to bring my own supplies?
Most tools are included in your fee. Some projects may require additional materials, which can be purchased at the studio.
What ages can participate?
Our programs are open to all ages. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
