Metal Art with Tina Komendat
Do you like to create art? This is a unique opportunity to work with artist Tina Komendat to create a textured original work of art! Inspired by Mexican folkart, this technique uses various simple tools to to create dimension and texture with line work. Finished pieces will be between 5”×7” to 8”×10”. Take home a fun framed art work to hang on your wall!

Learn the art of kinusaiga and make your own 12"x12" fabric collage. This traditional Japanese craft does not require needles or sewing but you will use scraps of material to make a mosaic/stained glass piece of art in a frame.

Where is Mad Park Art located?
We’re located at 12902 Madeira Park Road, Madeira Park, BC (across from the Bargain Barn)
What does it cost to attend?
Drop-in studio hours typically cost $10, with most tools included. Some materials may have additional costs. Workshop and class pricing varies.
Do I need to register for classes or events?
Some workshops require pre-registration, but many of our drop-in sessions are open to everyone. Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee your spot, though it isn’t always necessary.
Do I need to bring my own supplies?
Most tools are included in your fee. Some projects may require additional materials, which can be purchased at the studio.
What ages can participate?
Our programs are open to all ages. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
